Often referred to as an epiphany catalyst and corporate storyteller (although a client recently called him a “mad genius”), Jack helps both large corporations and small startups distill and refine their message for clear communication. An award-winning copywriter, and former agency Executive Creative Director, Jack has a rich background in all aspects of the creative process, and has passionately focused the last several years on social media engagement strategies for business. People often tell Jack that he’s helped them really understand social media marketing for the first time. He’s frequently asked to speak to groups about messaging, creativity, and social media marketing. Jack also teaches a social media marketing class at Brigham Young University.

Maile is an entrepreneur and seasoned executive with broad experience in sales and marketing. She is passionate about finding the best possible methods to position and market products and services, leading to increased visibility and sales. In 2002 Maile left the technology sector to found Fashionable Fundraising, a company that assisted non-profit organizations in raising money through jewelry sales. A few years later, she re-joined the technology industry at WiLife, which sold to Logitech, and then moved on to Allegiance and Alianza, helping them with their marketing strategies and positioning. Maile loves people and often spends time wondering if she’s a maven or connector, or a little of both.

Blake leads the Lava7 design team with extensive experience in art direction, advertising, graphic design, and social networking tools. At Brigham Young University he worked as the Creative Director for The Ad Lab—the program’s student agency where he competed in the international L’Oreal Brandstorm competition. Blake’s team won both the national and international competition, competing against 39 other countries. Blake rocks design (and is really modest). So, we have to point out that one of his recent designs is featured on every McDonald’s Happy Meal in the world—and, some of his work for Extra Gum appears in Rolling Stone Magazine ad this month. Blake interned at both DDB New York, and Leo Burnett Chicago—both coveted agency gigs.
